Sometimes I would even forget the ending of a drama I watched just hours after I finished them lmao people often say this; "I wish I can forget about it and watch it all over again." This has been the case for me LOL I read and watch too many things so I can't remember all the details unless I rewatch/reread them. In this case, I've re-read Raeliana manhwa 3x but rn I still can't recall 90% of what happened 😭

I'm pretty sure I would die quickly in this sort of isekai in which knowledge from our world is supposed to be really valuable like I dk any recipes to anything and only if its like a book that I read recently and I have read it at least twice will I be able to remember

I at least know the recipe for gunpowder, so as long as it's not a post industrial society I'll probably be good. I also know the basics of how planes work, like the proper shape of the wing and such so I might be able to make that work.

you just gotta learn one good thing. back in medieval days they basically didn't have anything so whatever you can make that nobody else has will make you rich. I recommend watching the youtube channel Cody's Lab, he's a scientist but he's also a farmer. he's made videos about growing edible algae, mushrooms, and he has a full series based on bees. I'm sure at least one of his videos would help in an isekai, like maybe the one about making your own soap.

There was one isekai manga I read recently where the woman was an avid reader of novels and like... when she got into the world of the novel she could barely remember what novel it even was amongst the myriad of titles she has read... let alone the details. Ironically, I totally forget the name of the manga now... so... it's pretty relatable. >_<

I always appreciate the isekai where the isekaid characters realize they will forget a lot of details as time goes on so they write it all down so they can remember later when the details are still fresh. And likely add details as they remember as most of it was written :).

Regressor stories can be like that as well, my favourite one has its FL/MC keeping a journal of the previous timeline, cause she'd originally lived such a "sheltered" life she only found out some necessary stuff before dying and being sent back. And she gets sent back 6 years, she realises she would forget those details as time goes too.

May not necessarily be so surprising when literally living and encountering the story itself might be something of a «memory jogger» ...perhaps it is something like recalling the lyrics to a song where each line fore-shadows the next line... (although there did used to be a time in my life when I could not even remember my own name from day to day; I later on had to learn & research & study about memory which fortunately helped a lot with not forgetting everything)

With novels and stories you really like, or ones you've very recently read, it's much easier to know and remember the details. Likewise with manga/manhwa/manhua or webtoons. And she was reading a mystery novel, so it's a given her mind is inquisitive and eager for "clues".

Maybe the duke did plan to eliminate her once she dished out all the intel, but, the ML aura aside, he doesn't look like the sort of loon who'd torture a woman for that. The setting already implies that people in power can play the political game and be clever about their moves. Her fiance is a bottom feeder, by the looks of it, so he can easily be as dumb as they get. But this guy is essentially a prince, his upbringing and current position imply he's smarter about his choices. And he doesn't look one bit like a "Harry".
